GrainSpan came into existence with the epiphany that there is endless potential in harnessing the innate power of grains to create clean and diverse forms of nourishment. In 2012, the establishment of GrainSpan Nutrients Pvt. Ltd. ushered in a new era in the grain-milling industry, and soon, GrainSpan became India’s largest exporter of grain derivatives.
A decade later, 2022 became a landmark year in the growth journey of India’s biofuel sector as GrainSpan embarked on a strategic diversification initiative, venturing into grain-based ethanol production. This deliberate expansion of the product portfolio was more than a strategic move; it was, is, and will continue to be a mission to secure India’s energy and food security until it gets accomplished.
Chairman's Message
At Grainspan Nutrients, our mission is to transform agricultural potential into powerful sources of energy and innovation. Guided by the principle that success is achieved twice—first in the mind, then in reality—I have dedicated my career to turning visions into thriving enterprises.
My journey began in Tamil Nadu, where I joined our family business and led it to unprecedented success. In 2002, as Chairman of Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols Ltd., I oversaw the establishment of three Corn Starch plants, positioning the company as a market leader in India.
In 2012, I founded Grainspan Nutrients with a vision to revolutionize the agro-processing industry. Today, Grainspan stands as a leader in the dry milling of corn and rice. Our three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Gohana exemplify our commitment to excellence. Additionally, we are proud to have set up Gujarat’s first grain-based ethanol manufacturing facility, furthering our dedication to sustainable energy solutions.
Beyond our business achievements, Grainspan is committed to making a positive impact on society. We actively contribute to various social causes, including education and healthcare, and I serve as a trustee for organizations like Rajasthan Sewa Samiti and JITO Educational Trust.
