GrainSpan Nutrients is an integrated grain processing company based in Ahmedabad, India. Since our first plant opened in 2014, we have built a vertically integrated operation that converts corn and rice into food-grade ingredients, grain-based animal feed, and bioethanol – supplying food manufacturers, FMCG brands, feed businesses, and export buyers across 19+ countries.
GrainSpan operates from three corn and rice milling facilities – in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Gohana/Sonipat (Haryana), and Kolkata (West Bengal) – with combined processing capacity of 1,000 MT per day and 75,000 MT of grain storage. Our biofuel division in Gujarat produces grain-based ethanol at 350 KLPD combined capacity, with co-products including DDGS, distilled corn oil (DCO), and food-grade CO₂.

- Corn Products
GrainSpan’s corn dry-milling operations produce degermed yellow corn grit in multiple granular sizes, degermed yellow flaking grit, corn flour, and pre-gelatinised (alpha) corn flour. These products serve snack manufacturers, breakfast cereal producers, bakeries, breweries, and food processing companies across India and internationally. - Rice Products
Our rice milling operations produce rice grit, rice flour, and broken rice from all three plant locations. These serve food manufacturers, weaning food producers, gluten-free food brands, and export buyers in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
- Ethanol and Co-Products
GrainSpan is among Gujarat’s largest grain-based ethanol producers, supplying anhydrous ethanol to oil marketing companies under India’s Ethanol Blending Programme. Co-products from our ethanol operations – DDGS, DCO, and food-grade CO₂ – are supplied to animal feed manufacturers, biodiesel producers, and beverage companies.
